» Is this accepted in all states? The state availabilities are all different so please contact a representative for what is available in your state. [ Permalink ] » What if I have a preexisting medical condition? There are no pre-existing conditions on the Medial Repricing card. As soon as your card becomes effective, you get access to Doctor's and Hospitals and many other valuable benefits! We have a range of products to help you in pretty much any situation. Our representatives are trained to help you find the plan that will best suit your needs, whether it is a plan through us or even through the state or federal risk pool. These risk pools are put in place for individuals who have preexisting conditions that would prevent them from obtaining regular major medical health insurance. In instances where an individual is still receiving medically necessary treatment for a condition or illness the risk pools may be the better option. While several preexisting conditions are accepted by insurance carriers, some may not be. We offer a guaranteed issued schedule-of-benefits plan that has no pre-existing on visits to the doctor or prescription drugs. Hospitalization and/or surgery do have a 12 months pre-existing wait before your pre-existing conditions will be covered. [ Permalink ] » How often will my health insurance rates go up? Typically you can expect your health insurance rates to increase once your policy has been in force for 1 year. [ Permalink ] » Is this credible coverage? The health insurance from Assurant Health is considered to be credible coverage. [ Permalink ] » What are scheduled benefits? Scheduled benefits help take care of those day-to-day medical costs such as doctor visits, wellness visits, lab work and x-rays. It can even extend to help cover some of your ER costs as well as general hospitalization. [ Permalink ] » What are the advantages to having a high deductible? Most people never meet their low deductible and in turn end up paying thousands of dollars each year to have a low deductible they rarely meet. Taking a high deductible will lower your monthly premium costs while still giving your protection against major claims. [ Permalink ] » Who do I call if I have questions concerning my policy? If you have any questions regarding your policy you may call either Medical Repricing -or- your insurance carrier directly. [ Permalink ] » What are the advantages of a medical repricing card? With the medical repricing card you will save between 40-60% on your medical costs within the designated PPO network. This means that, as long as you are in the PPO network, you will receive discounts on doctor visits, prescription medications, medical procedures, dental visits and much much more. This medical repricing card will also discount medical bills due to pre-existing conditions with no waiting periods. This card will not discount any existing medical bills, only bills that are incurred after the effective date of the card. [ Permalink ] » Why should I take doctor office co-pays off my plan? There are several reasons why doctor office co-pays are not your most economical option. First, co-pays do not count toward your deductible. Secondly, to add doctor office co-pays to a plan will drive your monthly premium even higher. If you take the co-pay off of the plan it will significantly lower your premium. With the medical repricing card and the PPO network already attached to health insurance you will receive significant discounts at network providers. [ Permalink ]
