» Is this accepted in all states? The state availabilities are all different so please contact a representative for what is available in your state. Our representatives are trained to help you find the plan that will best suit your needs, whether it is a plan through us or even through the risk pool put in place by your state. The state risk pools are put in place for individuals who have preexisting conditions that would prevent them from obtaining regular major medical health insurance. In instances where an individual is still receiving medically necessary treatment for a condition or illness the state risk pool may be the better option. While several preexisting conditions are accepted by insurance carriers, some may not be. We do offer a schedule-of-benefits plan that is guaranteed issue, which means that, after you have been on this policy for 12 months, all of your preexisting conditions will be covered. Most people never meet their low deductible and in turn end up paying thousands of dollars each year to have a low deductible they rarely meet. With the medical repricing card from Consumer Direct Association of America you will save between 40-60% on your medical costs such as doctor visits. [ Permalink ] » Why should I take doctor office co-pays off my plan? There are several reasons why doctor office co-pays are not your most economical option. First, co-pays do not count toward your deductible. Secondly, to add doctor office co-pays to a plan will drive your monthly premium even higher. If you take the co-pay off of the plan it will significantly lower your premium. With the medical repricing card and the PPO network already attached to health insurance you will receive significant discounts at network providers. [ Permalink ]
